UMW’s IRO club has decided to come up with and create our own style of a Model UN conference, based here in Fredericksburg, VA. We invite high school teams and anyone interested in the art of debate and diplomacy to participate in our conference and experience Model UN as an Eagle!
We are bringing the high school youth to show them how Model UN is done on a collegiate level and teach them our knowledge of how conferences are run and prepare and push others to follow in the steps of Model UN delegates and teams.
Schools from many surrounding areas will be invited on a two day event full of committee, debate, and other activities found here at UMW. Our goal is to teach, have fun, and learn more about Model UN and deliver a positive experience to all participants.
