We are the UMW International Relations Organization, a student group at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia! We specialize in, as you may have guessed, international relations, and our primary mission is to host discussion of the field, and engage the UMW community in its study. UMW Model UN Travel Team
The Mary Washington Model UN Travel Team competes in collegiate model UN conferences all across the country, and is ranked in the Top 100 in North America. The Travel Team competes every semester, and if you’d like to learn more, click the link above!
MARYMUN
MARYMUN is the University of Mary Washington’s inagural high-school level model UN conference. We hope to host it on UMW’s Fredericksburg campus in the near future. If you’d like to be involved in the creation or running of MARYMUN, click the link above!
Other Projects
We have many other various and sundry projects going on with the IRO! We host Bake and Book Sales periodically each semester, we have a campus radio show/podcast in the works, and many other opportunities to get involved in the international relations field.
